The Cottages
on Stouts Creek and Low Water Cottge are a great spots for a family vacation whether you
visit the nearby attractions, such as the Black River, or just hang
out at the cottages. Sit outside on the patio and barbecue;
or walk over to the pool and take a dip. You might even decide to go horseback riding.
Follow the path to the creek. Walk along the edge and listen to it
bubble or take off your shoes and enjoy the refreshing waters. If
you sit quietly by the edge, you might get a glimpse of the Big Blue
Heron or one of the other many birds that come and drink from the
creek.
Cross the low water bridge to a working cattle farm.. You are free
to wander as long as you do not enter any closed gates. Inside the
closed gates there are protective mother cows, horses and an overly friendly
bull.
Modern lodging, swimming pool, patio with barbecue facilities, creek
and farm in the Missouri Ozarks, only an hour and a half away from
St. Louis or Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
